Tuesday, June 10th, 2008Urinary tract infection is also known as bladder infection. As with humans, dogs urinary infection is caused by bacteria. Some signs that your dog may suffer from bladder infection include blood in the urine, difficulty urinating and frequent urination. The bacterial infection can occur anywhere along your pets urinary tract. Usually bacteria doesn’t appear in the urine however if bacteria gets into the kidney they may multiply in the urine. Urinary tract infections are so-called UTIs.
